BBQ, Grilling, Smoking, and Griddle Recipes

I started OrWhateverYouDo.com in 2010 and haven't looked back since! We love family style big-batch cooking and getting outside as much as we can.

Fall is soup season in this house, and we don't exclude the Traeger from the fun, either. You can roast a whole chicken to make your stock, smoke your meatballs, or even cook the whole thing on the grill if you're feeling it. Try some of these recipes this month, and let me know what you think!

Traeger Chicken and Dumpling Soup

This heart soup is enough to make a meal out of, but if you want to make up a batch of homemade rolls, no one will argue.

Vietnamese Beef Stew

Also known as Bò kho, this flavorful beef stew has a million ingredients but every one is worth the effort. Once you throw it together, it simmers until the beef is fork tender and you have the biggest, heartiest bowl of stew that everyone will be headed back for another serving of. Make a big batch. It freezes well, too!

Smoked Pulled Pork Chili

This is one of my favorite recipes to make with leftover pulled pork. Plus, it is so simple to make. Dump some ingredients in a pot, simmer, and enjoy.

Smoked Italian Wedding Soup

The meatballs hit the smoker for some wood-fired flavor before being simmered with simple ingredients and some tiny pasta. This is delicious, and perfect next to a loaf of focaccia!

Mexican Beef Stew

I love a good beef-based soup, and in the winter having a big pot of this simmering on the stove will make your whole house smell incredible! I like to serve this with some jalapeno cheddar corn cakes.
